CINDY NGO

Cindy Ngo is a multidisciplinary graphic designer who utilizes empathy as a tool for design. Her core inspiration for design are the stories of minorities, including herself as she comes from a rich Vietnamese-American upbringing. In the future she wishes to create meaningful work that spotlights the journeys of individuals and businesses alike, in hopes of promoting diversity in the design space.

COMMUNICATION WINE

The Communication Wine set is a combination of three different Merlot wines that vary in price points. The designs of each label are centered around different terms of communication corresponding with their price point. The Talking Stage being the casual low price wine, Conversation as the contemporary in-between option, and Exchange being the traditional more expensive wine. 

CRYSTAL MANIFESTO

This publication is an experimental type study that combines two notable typographic texts; The Crystal Goblet by Beatrice Ward and The Typographic Manifesto by Jan Tschichold. Each text advocates for opposing ideals of typography and this publication aims to showcase the ideals through typographic positioning. 

CYMBAL

CYMBAL is a bag brand that aims to spotlight the richness of Viet culture through various constructions of bag products. Products include coin pouches, foldable grocery bags, tote bags, and many more. Through infusing culture in everyday products, CYMBAL hopes to showcase that Vietnam has more to offer beyond its delicious cuisine. This specific line of products is inspired by the traditions that take place during Vietnamese Lunar New Year– Tết. 

RHYTHM ROOM

Rhythm Room is a physical media rental app that allows for users to reserve albums and devices in advance to be picked up at the physical location, all through a click of a button. It's like a library but for music and media collectors. Users are also able to save their favorite albums and listen to samples of other albums via the explore page. 

THE COLLECTION

The Collection Magazine is a written appreciation for the art of collecting. Recently, collecting has become quite the trend but many have forgotten that collecting has been around for a while now. This first magazine is focused on the dissection of the hobby, such as “why do we collect?” and the examination of the various forms that collections come in.
