ECHO SKIDMORE

Echo Skidmore is a graphic designer and illustrator from the Pacific Northwest whose work blends collage, traditional illustration, and digital design to create layered visual narratives. Inspired by the landscapes of Oregon, queer history and culture, music, and literature, their work explores the connections between place, identity, and storytelling. Through this blend of mediums and influences, Echo’s designs turn personal and cultural experiences into compelling visual stories.

JUNK DRAWER

The Junk Drawer collection is a project inspired by my favorite independent arts-and-crafts store, Collage, in Portland. The store carries every art supply, craft material, stationery item, and oddity imaginable, which inspired me to create a series of patterns applied across a collection of products. Drawing from everyday objects like buttons, drawing tools, and fasteners, these patterns transform familiar items—often overlooked in a junk drawer—into elevated objects you can use every day.

MIDNIGHT PANTHER

Midnight Panther is a Merlot inspired by the companionship of my black cat Ernie, and the late nights we often spend together. The label design attempts to capture both the elegance of the night as well as the whimsy and fun of spending a night with a silly feline companion.

THE ARMY, THE NAVY TOUR POSTER

This tour poster for the indie-pop band The Army, The Navy was directly inspired by a photograph with the same concept of duplicating and resizing the original figures in the foreground. The grungy style of the original photography translated to my thick, dynamic line weights.

ZENITH

Zenith is a cannabis brand inspired by the many trips and adventures my brother, Ronan, and I have taken throughout the Pacific Northwest. The collection incorporates details that are deeply personal to us, as well as visual influences from the region where we grew up. By blending these personal and regional elements, Zenith aims to feel authentic and familiar while remaining inviting and approachable to all legal cannabis consumers.
