GRACE HAROLD
Grace Harold is a graphic and motion designer whose work explores expressive narratives and personal artistic voice. Inspired by the notion of intention in simplicity, Grace uses clean graphics, focus on form, and thoughtful storytelling to create compelling designs. As a designer, Grace continues to develop her body of work by exploring nontraditional typography and incorporating dynamism into her design language.
ALIEN BLUES
Alien Blues is a collage-style animation with kinetic typography following the lyrics of Alien Blues by Vundabar. I used collage cutouts to create and animate surreal landscapes and environments.
CROSSROADS
Crossroads is an art catalogue for an exhibition at the Smithsonian American Art Museum. This experimental publication explores nontraditional type treatment and layout systems.
DAISY’S
Daisy’s is an original concept for a handmade and organic goat milk soap company. The rustic, vintage typography communicates the artisanal values of the brand, while the simple color palette signals luxury.
NOOK CAFE
Nook Cafe is an original concept of a cafe that serves as a third place for students. The name and logo are inspired by the popular Nintendo game Animal Crossing.
PRAIRIE MOON NURSERY
This project is a rebrand for Prairie Moon Nursery, a plant nursery that specializes in native seeds & plants. The logo is inspired by the family business’s history–representing the two founders and their son.
