Ian Von Ohlen is a graphic designer and illustrator who specializes in the vibrant intersection of photography, design, and digital illustration. "BROKE" is a magazine designed to bring awareness to the financial struggles many Americans face and the consequences of capitalism. Through harsh imagery, bright colors, and historical analysis, Broke offers a perspective many Americans can relate to on a daily basis.
FONTANO’S SUBS REBRAND
This project’s focus was to reimagine Chicago’s iconic sandwich shop “Fontano’s Subs.” With a new logo, mascot, and other assets, this redesign reinvents Fontano’s image into a modern and sleek feel while paying homage to its roots.
SOUL SOIL ALBUM
Combining the albums "Louis" by Louis Armstrong and "Billy Walker's Greatest Hits" by Billy Walker, results in a conceptual punk band called “Soul Soil.” Alongside an album cover, this project also offers tour posters, merch, and a logo.
