Through her versatile work as a graphic designer, motion graphics artist, and illustrator, Sarah Diaz amplifies the eccentric nature of artistic communication. With her signature style featuring attributes shared with movie posters, magazines from the mid 2000's, and various animated features, this designer looks to explore how far the the limit of professionalism can be pushed and where humor, positivity, and whimsy might find their place within those limits. Through her experience witnessing the shift from physical products to digital media, Sarah looks to acknowledge the success and appeal of traditional design and integrate it into the modern, minimalistic work of today, bringing a more fantastical element for audiences to connect to. 

22 INFINITY PUBLICATION

22 Infinity is a non-official parody publication dedicated to acknowledging the time and effort devoted to creating the world of Outer Wilds through the style of a national park magazine. Within the pages of this magazine, readers will learn about each planet and the near limitless discoveries one can make while exploring. 

PANDORA SEASONAL MASCOT

What do people and penguins have in common? Both parties give shiny rocks to their loved ones to show they care. In this seasonal mascot branding, our little friends play hide and seek with Pandora’s signature logo while they assist customers in finding the perfect gift for their sweetheart. 

MENARDS REBRANDING

Throughout this redesign process, the main goal was to lower the intensity of the Menards brand as a whole and lean the business towards a more approachable look. Menards has a history of promoting themselves to a specific audience; as a response, this rebrand is promoting specific values many share. The icon symbolizing a house and window is meant to beckon consumers to take care of their home as though it is a figure in the family and to utilize the tools Menards provides to get the job done. 

HYPERBOLE

Hyperboles are phrases utilizing extremely visual language, relying on the audience to understand the comment as sarcasm or a dramatisation of an idea. Hyperbole is a comedy brand focusing on the sense of humor derived from those who take things too literally and those who cannot word events realistically.
